How it works
From your request to the local handoff.
The pharmacy remains responsible for reviewing, fulfilling, and dispensing medicines throughout the journey.
Provide a prescription where required
Upload a clear, genuine prescription when the requested medicine requires one.
A licensed pharmacy reviews it
A pharmacy partner checks availability, prescription requirements, and whether it can lawfully fulfil the request.
The pharmacy fulfils eligible medicines
The pharmacy accepts or rejects the request and remains responsible for dispensing and medicine quality.
A delivery partner collects the order
After fulfilment, an available independent delivery partner may collect the prepared order from the pharmacy.
The local handoff is completed
Delivery is made to the details you provide, subject to reasonable identity, OTP, or handover checks where used.
Prescription medicines
A valid prescription comes first.
Prescription medicines can only be fulfilled after a valid prescription is provided and the licensed pharmacy’s applicable checks are completed. PillRocket does not apply a universal six-month prescription-validity rule.
Pharmacy responsibility
Dispensing stays with the pharmacy.
Licensed pharmacy partners remain responsible for lawful dispensing, prescription verification, medicine authenticity, expiry, storage, invoices, and the condition of medicines they supply.
Local delivery
Delivery follows pharmacy fulfilment.
An independent delivery partner supports the pharmacy-to-customer handoff after the order is prepared. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by availability and local conditions.

A request is not automatically an accepted order. Fulfilment depends on pharmacy acceptance, medicine availability, prescription review, and applicable law.

Standard rider delivery does not support medicines requiring continuous cold-chain, refrigerated, frozen, or other validated temperature-controlled transport.
Certain narcotic, psychotropic, Schedule X, or other highly regulated products may be unavailable where the required legal, storage, record-keeping, or delivery controls are not supported.
Any estimated delivery time may change because of pharmacy preparation, medicine or rider availability, traffic, weather, distance, emergencies, or technical issues.

Is PillRocket a pharmacy?
No. PillRocket is a technology marketplace and facilitation platform. Licensed pharmacy partners sell, fulfil, and dispense medicines.
Will I always need a prescription?
A valid prescription is required for prescription-only medicines where applicable. Medicines that may lawfully be sold without a prescription remain subject to the pharmacy’s classification and professional judgement.
Can a pharmacy reject my request?
Yes. A pharmacy may reject a request that is stale, illegible, altered, inconsistent, otherwise unsuitable for lawful dispensing, or cannot be fulfilled because of availability or other applicable requirements.
Are delivery times guaranteed?
No. Any delivery time shown is an estimate and can change due to pharmacy review and preparation, medicine or rider availability, distance, traffic, weather, demand, road restrictions, emergencies, or technical issues.
Can medicines be returned after delivery?
Medicines are health-sensitive goods and change-of-mind returns may be restricted after delivery. This does not remove statutory remedies for wrong, damaged, defective, expired, counterfeit, or otherwise non-conforming products.
